I am writing to warn people to read the fine print with there airline reservations...
I flew on flight 394 into Baltimore on 4-19-06, When we arrived, My husband heard and saw the baggage handlers THROWING around the luggage from the baggage hold- when we got our suitcases, they were dirty and torn (these were new bags) There was no one at the counter to report it to so we left and when I called to report the damage - they would not even take a report because it was soft sided luggage and that was excluded. And I had to report it at the airport (again no one there to report it to)
But I was informed they would not have taken the claim anyway due to the exclusion (so why bring it up to me, like it was my fault) I would have been happy with just having the set repaired, but for the baggage handlers to deliberately be throwing things and damaging them and know there will be no accountability by the company for there actions is just wrong.
I will never fly there airline again and will let everyone know how much they value their customers property...

Bad, bad airline. I can't understand how they can treat your luggage that way. It's terrible that you were exposed to such luggage abuse. The luggage handlers ought to carry each and every piece very gently and carefully. Of course it's gonna take ten hours to unload the aircraft, but that's a small price to pay to avoid and more luggage abuse.
