USA Benefits Group Captive agent Dublin Ohio

Although USA Benefits Group claims that you are not a captive agent, they will not release you from your contract to enable you to work somewhere else. They claim that the insurance carriers will not allow you to contract through another company until you have not done any business for 6 months with those carriers. When I called the carriers, they told me that all I need is a release from USABG so that I can contract with them. USABG refused to give me a release, even when the CEO from my new company called Don Duryea and asked him to release me.

When I told my manager that I wanted to work for another company he told me that I have the skills and I just need to work the system. They will effectively make me lose my means of income if I need to wait 6 months to be recontracted.
