USA Credit - Platinum plus Credit Card Total scam and rip-off, entirely misleading, absurd fees, fraudulent advertising, Gervais Oregon

I was online with my sister and I noticed this advertisement leading us to believe she could get this seemingly common credit card w/high credit limit by applying and paying a one time only activation fee for $29.95 and a monthly maintenance fee for $19.95.
This did seem out of the norm but we were assuming she could cancel it at anytime if she chose to do so. Right away we were instructed to enter her checking account information. At no time before taking her checking acct info was there any mention of charging her bank account for $150.00.

Obviously it now is sounding way out of the norm and very shady. Now we are completely past wanting anything to do w/this now obvious scam operation. At about this time we also realize the Platinumplus credit cards can only be used for online purchases which she doesn't do. She doesn't even have a computer.

So we start looking for someway to get some correspondence with these scam artist rip-offs but cannot find a telephone # to call for customer service. So we send off a couple of e-mails to a couple of email addresses for them we found. In our e-mails we stated that we did not want anything to do with their fradulent company and to absolutely not charge my sister's bank acct and to cancel the credit card order & to delete her personal information. We also asked in our e-mails for comfirmations from them that they had did as we had asked. No word from them.

Now she has to try to beat them to her bank to put a stop on the charge if she can. I can't believe we fell for this scam. Let's get our money back and get these deceiving scammers off the Internet.
