USA GOLD ripoff ripoff business from hell Pennsylvania

Hi all,
I got a call from a lady at USA gold card about a week ago. It was all sounding great until she mentioned the $179.99 fee she wanted from me that night. I told her I didnt have that kind of money at the time and she said they could post date a check over the phone for up to 30 days.

I was willing to give her a posted check for 60 days later and she told me they could do a max of 30 days and it was a one time offer. She also told me the $179.99 would be refunded to me for purchases on thier catalog. I ended up turning them down.

Who's got $180 bucks to throw away. I then went on the web to see if I could find thier catalog which btw you can only get to if you are a member so I never got a chance to even see what they had to offer.

Stay away from companies like this. Another one, big time rip off is Peoples Credit First. DO NOT send your money to those people. If you have bad credit and someone offers to send you an unsecured credit card worth $5000, think about it long and hard. I have bad credit and no one but a fraudulant company would even look twice at giving me anything like that.

To USA Gold: There are a lot of people out there with "less than perfect credit" as you call it. If they had sterling credit why would they need you? You really should look at the way you do business asking innocent people for money up front without giving them any information whatsoever.

If you want to sell your stuff and have people accept your card and pay those fees make you catalog accessible first so they can see what they are getting into and leave it up to them from there on. From what I have read here so far, you dont offer much which is Im sure why you dont do just that.
