April 2002 I saw on Yahoo ad banner in form of nice gold credit card. The company USA(!)Gold(!)Credit(!) has been offered me start to take care of my credit hystory. It is not so good after many encounters with similar not so clean businesses but...I still learning.

Their website is rather decent, representative on toll-free line were promising...Probably, too excessive but that time I didn't pay attention for that.

So I gave them my checking account and check numbers along with other personal information, they have didacted $150 from my bank account as a deposit for issuing credit card as they promised for making purchases from their online store - Superstore, as they call themself in their weekly newsletters - and(!) from any other retailers. After couple months waiting I've got mail package: bunch of paperwork and simple plastic card with my name on it. The card didn't work nowhere.

When I call them and asked to send me working credit card I was told I don't need one because my customer number on their files and that card only for internal usage and I must to buy something only from them in order to earn favorable reports to the credit bureaux... Oh, no, not again! But I already was in the trap. I thoroughly reviewed their merchandises and got the nature of their business. The items are not for sale! They are useless and overpriced. Consumer policy is senseless and cloaked. This people simply exploit your life troubles making it worst. With dim perspective better credit history you suppose to pay deposites, installment and monthly fees, double prices to the people who trick and rip you off.

My two polite e-mails have get quick polite standart invitations call them to obtain cancellation order and explanation(!) of ways how to get my money back. I have call them three times. Every time it was unforgettable. Especially Melissa (ext.2070). Mocking? Humiliation? They insisted I have no right to get my money back, that was membership fee, it was more than one year ago, sure they will close my account, but I'm not going to get my money back - it's too late and so on.

Whole matter already is not only about money. As I promised them I will defend my dignity and I am doing this right now. Thanks to ripoffreport.com I have realized I am not lone victim of those antisocial persons and their dirty business. I am ready to do everything I can to get rid of such ugly appearances from our life. Especially from new wonderful media - Internet.

And last. I am pretty sure much more their victims did not report nowhere. It is already interesting. Where is Federal Trade Commission, Better Business Bureau, Attorney General, FBI, Police? It is already huge scam case. And sure this is the material for class action lawsuit.
