DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! ITS A SCAM I was qouted one price of $900 dollars for a local long distance move from Murrieta Ca. to Alameda Ca. an eight hour drive. Because some of my items were not "wrapped properly" extra boxes were needed. I believe because of the added boxing material I was overweight. Therefore I was going to be charged extra. I agreed and was charged $600 up front (60% of total cost was due up front) They were 5 hours late and did not arrive at my destination until nearly 9pm. The driver a different guy from whom I spoken to before got out and said "ok we need to go to your apartment to collect payment!" He was rude, and a bit of a bully. I asked if check was ok and he yelled at me saying he only takes cash or cc. I handed him my cc and went to tuck my 9 y/o daughter into bed. When I came out he handed me a slip to sign for $1,300! I laughed saying that this is the wrong price. They had already charged my card for the $600 and I owed no more than $500 or the remaining 40% balance! He said "hey lady pay up or you dont get your stuff" at that I was mad and said fine im not paying! and that i would call the office in the morning! I asked him where he was going to take my things and he refused to tell me. Meanwhile he and 2 other guys were yelling and cursing in spanish at me when he left. I figured it was all a mistake and when I called the office the next morning, I spoke to david, he was not only rude he said that I now owed and extra $1,000 for storage! STORAGE? I dont owe you $2,300 I said. He said "fine i will auction your stuff!" and hung up on me. Its been six months and still no stuff, I constantly get the run around and im out $600 DO NOT USE THIS COMPANAY!! Because of the way the law is in california there isn't much I can do other than pay!
