USA Shopping Club takes advantage of people who think they are applying for a payday loan to the tune of $149.95 Uniontown, Pennsylvania

A company that tricks people, most of whom are in desperate financial circumstances, into becoming a "member" of their shopping club with outrageously-priced mediocre products.  In my case, I was trying to apply for a payday loan online.  I thought I was doing so at this one site, but neglected to read the tiny print where it said that, instead of getting emergency funds deposited into my account, they would actually be withdrawing them! One click and I was down $149.95.  No pop-up that says "are you sure", etc. Nothing. 

Of course I called the company, where I was informed that for this price, I would have access to their online shopping site and a credit line of $2000.  By then I had recovered financially and just chalked it up to my own stupidity.  To top it off, when I finally accessed the site, I realized that their products are mostly mediocre and INCREDIBLY overpriced.  $50 for the DVD of "American Gangster".  Yup, $50 for a 4 year-old DVD, and that's just one example.

I understand it's my responsibility to read the fine print, but obviously I'm not the only one who's getting lured into this scam.  It should be at least somewhat clear to a person looking for a payday loan that they are signing up for this, NOT hidden in fine print.  And the products they charge for is highway robbery, plain and simple. Bottom line: they take advantage of poor people in desperate circumstances and take money that these people don't have and can't afford.  It's no different then a con artist who scams a poor person out of their last dime.  Truly shameful.
