My Experience with USA Truck wasnt all bad they do make sure their lod gets to point A to B even if a driver is setting next to it for three days is what happened to me on three different occasions that equals nine days of no income and I still havent seen any funds from those days that are lost from my life setting at a truck stop from my faimly.

There was a day lost in Atlanta, Ga due to my trailer being broken into at an authorized fueling point for Us Truck drivers at a Pilot Fueling station I had to wait all day for a report from the local police. The Safety contact advised that I would be paid for the lost day but it never happened and I reminded my Dispatcher on a weekly basis because I'm up to ten days of lost pay that equals $1848.00.

The best check I ever recevied from USA Truck is when their Tractor broke down for a week and that is when I made what they said my weekly income would be during my recruitment and orientation that was around $720.00 and wouldnt you know it I had to get another truck I feel for the poor soul who

gets that truck thru the lease program and wouldnt you know the next tractor I recieved was clean and had low miles on it but when it rained the water leaked thru the left front speaker above the drivers head. I was due to come home and I just had a new addition to the faimly and I was broken in enoough with Usa Truck to know that I was gooing to end up setting in a truck stop somewhere and just have more regret.

I made it home spent the weekend with my faimly I had a emergency come up and needed some more time at home I was In touch with my Dispatcher Corry at the time I was past due two days and he advised me that if I wasnt back on the road by the next day he would send a recovery team for the truck. So I returned the truck to the terminal shop and recevied a note to that fact from the person who took the keys from me and spoke with the Terminal disptchers and advised them what was going on in my life and shook their hands and left. Keep in mind all the tiimes that I sent my request for retetion pay for my lost days sitting at a truck stop waiting on a load or when my truck or trailer was broke down And even letting them know they are behaving in a way that chases drivers off they would of given me some time to take of my faimly Since I wasnt getting any kind of miles to feed them while employed at Usa Truck.

My spouse and I was also Advised by my Fleet manager Adam Bobbit that I would be paid for those Days of being layed over it has not happen yet. And I called the main office in Van Buren spoke with people who seen that I wasnt getting the miles that a driver needs to support themselves out on the road and their faimly back home and they said it would get corrected.

Anyways after returning my truck to the terminal going in and speaking to my dispatcher letting him know that I was on of seven people to turn in their truck that week alone to the shop and shoke his hand goodbye all he could say is that I was sarcastic.... I know when I point the finger I have three pointing back... and they reported on my DAC that I quit without notice and that a lie.

It has been a struggle since then but I do try to live in faith of postive thinking and action. I'm not going to give up just yet I need 6 more months plus under my belt..

I hope who ever reads this and who is interested in O T R driving dont be scared off because it can only get better and believe me it will because its promised. So my suggestion is if your not being treated right by your dispatcher keep note never lose it and send them comm messages in on a daily bases in the morning and late afternoon of what is owed to you and let them know if deserving they are pushing you away.
