I registered my daughter in the U6 age group that ended in June of this year. I've been busy as a single mom and completely forgot about it til now. It appears that some teams had older players playing in the wrong age group. I do not remember providing my duaghter's birth certificate at the time of registration since it was her season playing with USA Youth Sports. My daughter confidence was shaken a bit against playing a team who appeared to be older than her since she was knocked down. She could've been seriously injured. Also, I do not know what this league is doing by hiring referees wearing an ankle monitor since they were referreeing an older age group. The parents on my daughter's team was not happy since they not only saw it and we were not notified. Even though it didn't affect us directly but I'm protective of my daughter of who's around her. How do we know what crime they committed? I do not know if Arizona has a law for youth sports leagues where volunteers must have a background check. I registered my daughter in another league and couldn't have been happier. I had to provide my daughter's birth certificate to make sure she's playing in the right age group, games start on time, better jerseys, etc. She's having a great time but misses her old team.

The schedule for the entire season is not published until at least halfway through the season. I could not remember when I received it but it was late in the season. I was only given less than 2 days prior to as to when my daughter's game was scheduled. I kept in contact with a mom who's child still plays for USA Youth Sports and she said it hasn't changed. They season has already started and no schedule for the entire season. She's pulling her child out of the league and coming over to where my daughter plays.
USA may be one of the cheapest leagues but you get what you pay for.

I wasn't notified of my daughter's team's schedule. I was notified the night before of the time my daughter's team was supposed to play and didn't get the entire schedule until the season was halfway through. As a single mom, how am I supposed to plan Saturday's out until a day or 2 prior. That's wrong. It's one of many reasons why my daughter is NOT playing for USA Youth Sports. It is the same reason where a few of her teammates have gone to different leagues.
