I got sucked in to this nightmare. In financial trouble I answered an unsolicited e-mail from my inbox, that's when it all began. I filled out an application that led me to believe I was applying for a national credit card, in fact I was not.

What I got was trouble. My story is the same as many others I have read here.

Unknown withdrawals for things I had never heard of. Namely Identity Theft Support for $31.98. That money is gone, but with USACredit I got lucky.

I recieved another e-mail announcing I had been enrolled in USACredit and $149.99 is all it would cost for a $12,500. credit limit that could only be use to purchase goods from USAShopping. The e-mail included a telephone #, the one I have referenced above.

I called, spoke with Tina and explained I did not have $149.99 for her company to withdrawal from my checking account. I also tried over and over again to get this mess canceled. Tina told me I couldn't cancel but she could split the payments in three with the first to be withdrawn today.

I beat them to the bank. My bank was very helpful. I spent at least two hours there, but we were able to come up with a solution. An inconvienent one but it's one I can live with and the bad guys get no monies.

But I dodged the bullet. I'm a grown up but I'm also naive. I can't believe I got myself into this mess. I thought because the e-mail originated from my inbox it was OK. What a dope, but I got lucky.

I only wish I had found this site before I recieved that first e-mail. My,but things would be different, ah spilt milk.

The lesson to learn is trust no one and check everybody through Ripoff Report before entering your life away on anything. I know I will.

Thanks Ripoff Report, but what does it say about us that a site like this is so necessary? Not much!
