A stolen check was presented in the store by my exboyfriend and he was not required to provide any form of ID and I was not contacted in regard to the check to confirm that I had written it. When I contacted USAgencies by phone I told the CSR that the check was stolen but I didn't have a check number and I didn't know the amount she then stated that she could not give me that information because I wasn't on the policy even though he used my check to pay for services. She then stated that the check was used as an over the phone payment there for no ID was required and to contact my bank to stop the ACH, and they could not stop the payment unless he canceled the policy even though I'm telling them it is a stolen check. The bank can not stop an ACH with out the amount of the check, on January 30th the check cleared my account and and when I went to the bank to sign an unauthorization form they stated that it was not an ACH but a written check and provided me with a copy when I went in to the store they stated that it was not there policy to ask for ID.

His name appeared no where on the check nor did the handwriting match and still no ID was requested nor was I contacted. I find it strange that this is there policy when you can not even go into a grocery store or a payday advance company which is a lot less money compared to insuring a vehicle if damages occur and write a check without ID yet you take a check for car insurance on a new account with no previous payment history using this checking account with no ID. Even if there is nothing that can be done for me I certainly fill that it should be in there policy to check for ID when there is identity theft everyday and they seem to be the only company not taking precautions in this department.
