Usbi ripoff fraudulent billing on phone Internet

I recently received a new bill dated 5/10/04 from verizon. It had charges from a company named usbi that I never heard off before. The calls were made on 4/23/04 at 5:32am, 5:53am,and 6:14 am.

The charges come to a total of $118.20 and are listed as toll charges. The funny thing is, that on 4-16-04 I changed services with verizon. I was offered toll charges since I currently didn't have that access along with their long distance service.

These calls were also stated to be to a number going to untd kingd. I am assuming that means united kingdom. I have no idea how to even call united kingdom nor do I know anyone there.

Then I happened to research usbi on line and that's how I saw another report submitted 5/6/04 stating that they too had just changed services with verizon when this occurred.

I sent them to bill inquiries from the web site they gave me and haven't heard back yet. I currently work full time and leave the house at 7am. I get home after 6pm and don't have the time to play phone tag and/or get the run around.
