I contacted a lady I found on the internet trying to buy French Bull dog puppies. She suggestede USHIP as the method of transfer. I was to get cash cards and send them to the agent in Austin Texas. This lady is supposedly in WI.
The puppies needed a thermal crate so i had to buy another one of those for them. Then the puppies (who were now in Chicago) needed an emergency insurance for delivery- another fast $500 and promise that the dogs would be here in the morning at 7:15. It's now 10:30, no dogs, no return calls and Uship said it is a scam. Now what do I do? I feel so stupid.

the fact is i dont work for any scammers. I am asking because I have a current investigation with Commander John Cole of Shaker Heights Police Department who is trying to figure out what happened to the family member (cat) that never showed up after transporting with a uship service. You can look up Commander Cole on the city's government website or i can give you his number also. So no i dont want money or anything from this person besides informantion (since i think they might be related) and justice in finding the man who is responsible for this unfathomable act of indecency.
Thanks
Leif Bergerson.

It is a scam

There are no puppies. The two people that responded here on this site are most likely affliated with the scammer. They are trying to set you up again to send more money. Don't do it. Go to FTC(dot)gov and look up this scam (and other scams) for details.
Just so you know, the scammer doesn't actually have puppies. They scrape the photos off of legitimate websites and offer the puppies for sale only if you pay an up front fee for a variety of things. In your case they asked for money for the crate and for emergency insurance. Don't send any more money. Call the police and file a report. It is doubtful that you will get a refund because scammers don't use their real name and use untraceable methods for you to pay them.
Sorry you have experienced this.

I am the person on the california end of the shippment for the two cats edgar and lily(from LA to CLE). When the cats were picked up i saw 3 white french bulldog puppies with big blue eyes which Randy Eshleman our uship trasnporter of the cats had in his truck. he was going to chicago also which he told me and asked if i wanted to purchase one of the puppies my self. From what i understand what just happened is both fraud, grand theft, and animal abuse (which is the worst of all). Please get back to me or Danielle if those where your puppies becuase we are trying to gather as much information togeher to bring legal acton into this on both Randy Eshleman and Uship which is a very crooked company. What this man has done is disgusting and he needs to face the consiquences for his actions.
thanks,
Leif Bergerson

Saw one of those puppies

I am so sorry. The man who was supposed to deliver my daughter's two cats to me, and only brought one, had an emaciated french bulldog in the back of the truck. He wouldn't let me get close enough to grab it. My daughter warned me about it. When he picked the cats up, there were three, and he tried to sell one to her for $1,000. I am sure the other two did not survive, since the way it was crated, some type of small animal cage, not a dog crate, was inhumane. We contacted animal control and he would not open the truck. We have been wondering what became of the dogs and our other cat. This has been heartbreaking. I can tell you that puppy will not see another day if it made it through the night. I am so, so sorry for your loss. I hope someone stops him. -Danielle Gordon, Shaker Heights Ohio
