USIS (AKA) HireRight serched Criminal Back- Ground on my full Name instead of Date Of Birth, Social Security,and Supplied to all Employer,s who asked for the Criminal Search,The Person with the Same name Is my Son.He has Had a lot of contact with local police,thus a Criminal Record.I the Father has NOT,and have No Record ,
I,am Currently A Reserve Police Officer in the State of Indiana and my Current Job is a Professional (OTR) Semi-Truck Driver ,Since I have worked in law-Enforcement with many Department,s ,Ive have never seen such Unprofessional Detective Work by this Company.and to the point of Destroying A Person,s Reputation ,Credibility, in there Profession,s.
I,m Looking into Sueing them at this point,and hope in the future that they USIS,(AKA) HireRight can be Held Criminally as well as Libel. I ,m Trying to find a Criminal Charge at this Time , Hopefully I might be able to Stop this Poor-Investigation,s in the State Indiana,
I Feel they have stopped Me from getting a New Truck Driving Job as for I was LAID-Off From my Former Job. My Supervisor I worked for at that Job Stated To Me That USIS was a HEARSEY Agency that His Company would not use for the Hireing of OTR-Truck Driver,s
I Called USIS and informed Them about this (ERROR) they advised me they only Check By Name and not anything else,So every one that has the same NAME will Be at RISK any where this, POOR-REPORTING AGENCY Shound not be able to stay in Business.

Criminal searches are obtained from your local county or state. Most searches are done on name only because that is how they are stored. Very few criminal records actually contain SSN or DOB unless they are offenses resulting in prison time. You first complaint should be to your local county court for releasing the information in a name only search. Second should be to any potential employer who accepts a name only match and does not compare any other identifiers when making employment decisions. To correct things you need to go to the source . contact the reporting agency and file a dispute. But if Indiana stores its criminal records by name it will keep happening no matter who the reporting agency is .

I have similar results with this jack-leg company, they are a nuisance and need to be stopped from further damaging any other drivers employability. Until this company can produce a quality report that can be trusted and error free they should not be allowed to conduct business in any state. I wish you luck in the persuit of a lawsuit!
