USXPRESS ENTERPRISE/TRUCKING LEASE PROGRAM CHATTANOOGA Tennessee

My wife and i were company drivers, (TEAM) who at first making good money. Then the miles got real bad after 1 year. So we made the change over to lease drivers, ( after being in truckers poverty) after talking to others who said; do it! its a money maker. What a mistake!! In the lease class we were told; IF THERE ARE ANY PROBLEMS, PLEASE TALK WITH US , WE ARE HERE TO HELP YOU!

What should have been said was; Here is a gun and 5 bullets, SHOOT YOUR SELVES NOW! I know that the system is not perfect, but we did settel in quickly. After 1 month, my wife was removed from the truck by her doctor. She was put in the hospital, (While we were on home time) totaly unexpected on the day we were to return. I called flt man, told him the issue, he said; no problem report to tunnel hill, ga. You have to redo your lease.

The next morning (WEDNESDAY) i left for T.H. GA. when i got there i was told by a guy who runs this program, to take the truck they were offering, it was ready and if i passed on it i would be there for 3 days waiting on another truck.The guys name is ADAM HIGGINS. I had my old lease terminated, and a new lease done, signed and deal sealed. After getting all that was expected of me done, i was ready to roll. But the truck was not!

Truck had problems. Now remember, i was told by adam; take this truck! You could be stuck here if you dont. By thursday afternoon, they sent the truck to peterbuilt. The truck (THE SHOP TOLD ME, WOULD BE BACK THAT DAY BY 6:00pm) did not make it back. They said it will be on friday. Now anyone who has done leasing before knows that the payment is do even if you did not make any money that week. So, in fear of this, i went to the very person who said; WE ARE HERE TO HELP!

To inform him of the delay, and to see if they could do some thing about the 1st payment. In which im not ashamed to say; im not going to make. You see, i would have been put behind on payments right off the bat. Well as you can amagine, he said; NO! A heated conversation started,he told me well i will get the lease termination papers started, i walked away, called my wife and quit. The next day, (FRIDAY) i came to clean out my "READY TO ROLL TRUCK" and was not suprised to find out that the "READY TO ROLL TRUCK" was staying there, untill (MONDAY).

The point of this letter is to say, i honored my word and obligation, THEY USX, VIOLATED, AND TERMINATED,THERE OWN WORD AND CONTRACT. This company has some of the best people working in the trucking industry. The problem is dept heads like Adam Higgins, who are not willing to listen to real problems, and help with realistic answers. I probly would not have gotten my truck back untill mon/tues, (no money made)of the following week. Now i ask you; WAS THIS A GOOD DEAL OR WHAT!! My advise to you is, if you are considering lease, know who you are dealing with. These people are only interested in money, NOT IN YOU! GOOD RIDDONS USX.
