In short:

  • I received the wrong parts and waited a long time for the right parts
  • I requested a refund and was hung up on
  • Their phone wait time is awful and they never return calls
  • I took it to the owner of UUC, Rob Levinson, where I was promised a refund on four occasions. Each time he failed to produce my refund.

Im very patient and never was aggressive with them; this process has taken well over a year and I am now doing my part to share my experience with you so that you can avoid the hassle and loss involved in doing business with UUC Motorwerks/Rob Levinson.



Rob Levinson and UUC Motorwerks offer very poor service; they ship the wrong parts, and dont return calls.  They have also failed to produce my promised refund over a period of one year, after numerous attempts on my part.  Theyre unorganized and I strongly advise you (consumers) to shop elsewhere to prevent a loss on your part.

On November 18, 2011 I placed an order via phone since UUC Motorwerks website had problems during checkout.  I ordered SwayBarbarian sway bar set for my BMW E46 330i as well as front and rear end links. After receiving my order, I took everything to the independent mechanics and they notified me I had two sets of rear end links.

I called UUC Motorwerks numerous times, and on January 11, 2012 they issued a return authorization which was to include a pre-paid shipping label.  This never arrived.

Eventually UUC Motorwerks said the end links I ordered werent even in production.  They wanted me to wait, so I allowed several months (Im very patient).  I called often to check the status.  Every time, they were at the same stage: no progress.

Eventually I asked for a refund and was hung up on.

On July 30, 2012 I contacted Rob Levinson via email and offered him an opportunity to resolve this issue by refunding me.  The links cost me $149.99 and I was offered a refund by Rob Levinson himself.

Since the below email, I have called Rob three (3) times and the last time I called, he agreed to email me confirmation of a refund check in the amount of $124 the next day (I paid $149.99 but accepted $124 without hesitation).  I never received an email or a check as promised multiple times by Rob Levinson himself.

This is October 30, 2012 and since Rob didn't do what he said he would last week (or any other time in the past year), I decided to share my experience with you so that you have what you need to make your own purchasing decision.

Before I posted this, I emailed the owner of UUC with a deadline for my refund once again.  This time I requested it be done via PayPal.

The refund was not submitted until after my deadline.  The day after posting this, I received a refund of $149.99 via PayPal.  That's still a year late.

With how long it took, and how unorganized this company is with their lack of communication I still advise you to shop elsewhere to avoid problems.
