I found this site that buys used CD's and I mailed them about 14 CD's for a specified amount. I mailed them in Oct 2003 and they said I would be paid within ten days of receipt of my shipment.

My shipment was confirmed received and was in the process of being paid. I was sent an e-mail saying they were backed up and I should receive payent by 14 Nov 2003. I did not receive a payment and I have been calling Customer Service for every day since 14 Nov 2003.

All the calls to Customer Service did no good since the answering machine comes on and say leave a message and we will get back to you. I left mesage at least four times and have not been called. I write a letter to supposedly Corporate address and a few weeks later I get an anonymous e-mail from customer service saying,"we are 90 days behind and your order fell through the cracks". The said they would contact the finance Dept to cut the check, and this was on 28 Nov 2003.


As of today, 9 Dec 2003, I have no check. In my opinion, they stole my CD's. They are probably getting people to send in their CD's first, then after they can sell them, then they will pay the customer.

No Excuse, unacceptable for any business to operate this way

Finally, after filing numerous reports with everyone I could think of, I got paid three months later. This is unacceptable for any business to operate this way. After calling customer service day after day, no one returned my calls.

I had to force these people to pay by using Bad Business Bureau and even then, they did not want to pay. They had the gaul to award someone with some contest money but they could not pay me.

I suggest not using them, Uzed.com or TradeStop.com they are operated by the ssame person, even though they claim to be different companies, they have the same mailing address.

More Excuses, The owner should be locked up

Today is 30 Dec 2003 and I have not been paid but I have filed more complaints with other agencies as well. This is out and out theft. Do not do business with TradeSop.com or Uzed.com, they will steal your property and they have an excuse for everything in the book.

The owner should be locked up for what he is doing and has done to me and many others I am sure.

Today is 17 Dec 2003, and I have not been paid yet. The President of Uzed.com and TradeStop.com called me after the initial report to the Bad Business Bureau. Steve Bonneau left me a message for me to call him back after my calling since 14 Nov 2003, with no response from anyone. First he wanted me to take this report off the website and then he claimed there were two addresses and the finance department could not issue a check.

In addition, he claims his customer service rep, Jim Butler was in the Hospital. This was 12/10/2003. No check but just excuses. Here is the e-mail he sent me. Furthermore, he says Uzed.com has nothing to do with TradeStop.com, wrong I shipped my CD's to the same address and they are operated by this person.

I can only speculate that for some reason the physical address was entered twice and that our third party check processor was not able to send it to Somers Point. They only print what we send them in a file.

With that being said we will issue you another check if you have not receive the prior one. I respectfully request that you remove your filing on Rip-off Report. You have not been ripped off. I understand your position, but there was an error in your account for your address, we don't handwrite checks out they are auto generated by Qchex. Lastly, you mention TradeStop.com in your report. This has nothing to with TradeStop. Again, I understand your frustration, but this is making slanderous accusations to accompany that are not accurate and unrelated to your problem.

about being 90 days behind we aren't. Could you send to me the email that you got saying that it is erroneous.
