In September 2009, I was contacted by Charles Kingsmore to see if I wanted to rent out my Timeshare.  He stated they go to Conventions and The Florida Boatshow to meet with corporations for rentals.  He also stated they advetise in "Homes Magazine".  They promised to advertise for 90 days and then you have to call them to renew the advertising for another 90 days.  They charged my AMX card for $870.00, a one-time fee to cover the two timeshares.  After I signed the contract, I went on line to the BBB and found out they were not an "BBB Accredited Business", and had some negative complaints, (2 in 12 months) but they were satisfied or resolved.  I contacted them every three months to keep my account active, but never received any calls from them with prospective renters.  In March 2010 I tried to speak to Mr. Kingsmore and found out he was transferred to another office.  I spoke to Rosemarie and told her I wanted to change the listings by selling my Wyndham timeshare, and taking the other one off the market because I had used it and changed my usage.  On June 25, 2010 I spoke to Paul Williams and my account was reviewed and activated.  On July 12th I asked for Rosemarie about my account and she was in Las Vegas.  I asked to speak to Charles Kingsmore and he was not available. So Charles said he would send him an e-mail to contact me.  I have never been contacted by anyone from Vacation Property Marketing regarding any rentals or sales for my timeshare.  Talk about a SCAM and a RIPOFF, THEY ARE DEFINATELY ONE........

Timeshare Resale Companies are a SCAM

AUTHOR: VickyF - ()

POSTED: Monday, May 12, 2014

Timeshare resale companies are a legitimate business. Companies agree to advertise a timeshare for a fee on their websites. As with advertising, the membership doesn´t need to sell in order the fees to be legitimate. The difference between an honest timeshare resale company and a scam, is when the company falsely suggest they have a buyer waiting for their timeshare, or picture unrealistic, overoptimistic selling possibilities.
