Mr. Val Thompson is not a good guy. This man is a snake who lies to young aspiring journalism professionals about everything. He lies about the journalism profession, employment opportunities at WCAV, and lies on the air in everything. This man has outspoken views on white supremacy and is really for the Black Lives Matter movement. However, this man hates all minorities, especially women, people of color, and the disabled. He also gives favor to students and alumni from Northwestern University.
He gives them a job for free. This man lied to people and candidates about keeping them in mind for opportunities and how great they are. This man lies to me about every job on the Newsplex website and didn't tell applicants the full and honest truth. He also lies on air with his viewpoints on Political Tuesday, Money Matters, and various news stories. Val Thompson is not a good person nor a good journalist if he is really is one. He is a bad man who lies about everything. He is a man who has no integrity and has no heart. He tells his former and current reporters that they are in the "way of the information." He also pushed people down some stairs and threatened their jobs.This man yells at people and is very rude. He is married to multiple women and has some problems.

Val Thompson has lied to many job applicants about employment opportunities. This man and television station company, Gray Television put jobs that are already filled. If you tried to respond to them, they will never ever write you back. Val Thompson is a snake and liar. He lied to people about jobs at the Charlottesville Newsplex. He will play games with you and isn't really interested in candidates. On November 7, 2017, he pretended to be interviewed in electorial candidates for local offices and was actually making fun of him. I also heard within Gray Television that he harass women, especially non-white women. He mostly hire minorities and harrass them. Everyone except him is paid 11 dollars and hour. Val Thompson despites WVIR-TV/NBC 29 and is currently plotting revenge against his main rival, NBC 29. Val Thompson hates all African-Americans, Hispanics, Middle Easterns, and all other minority group of people and all types of women. He gives favorism to all men.
The station itself is very horrible in news coverage and lied about everything including what happened on August 12th in Downtown Charlottesville.
