"I am appalled by the condition you keep your puppies in. Koko had a wound (scabbed over) near her tail, obviously caused by the bite of another dog. She now has  a bald patch there. Panchito had a broken (but healed, in an abnormal position) tail. Both puppies, especially Koko, were emaciated, skin and bones. They were famished and have eaten a lot all week. The kibble you sent with them was obviously inapropriate for their age.This is a cash business for you, for which you don't respond to the IRS like we all do. The very least thing you could do is treat these poor puppies humanely."

 

She did not respond.

 

Koko and Panchito received excellent care and love at my house. One morning I heard Panchito wailing, repeatedly trying to wake up Koko in her bed. which was by our bed. We went to check on Koko, who appeared to be sleeping. As we picked her up, she was totally limp, dead, and blood was coming out of her mouth. I have never seen a dog grieve as much as Panchito did.

 

Panchito had always had an abnormal gait, and was very uncoordinated. He was very afraid of people and totally devoted to his owners. At the age of 4, he began to develop joint problems and stopped eating and playing. After 4 months of expensive and heart wrenching veterinary care, panchito died.
