Value City Furniture - Falls Church Virginia Poor management of credit practices Falls Church, Virginia

I bought a sofa in January and instead of paying cash or on a credit card I was persuaded to apply for a value city furniture credit card with the opportunity to finance my purchase interest free for 6 months.  I have been excellent at repairing what had been a bad credit history three years ago.  Part of that rebuilding means taking on and successfully managing and paying new accounts.  I was originally granted a $500 credit line and was quickly bumped up to $1,500 available in a couple of months.  I am extremely disappointed in the abrupt closure of the account based on the decision by either VCF or Comenity bank to discontinue their agreement with each other with no regard to their mutual customers.  My available credit and now my debt to available credit ratio have moved in directions that have negatively impacted my credit score.  Credit inquiries also have a limiting factor on your credit for two years.  That impact is an acceptable one when it is taken as an opportunity to add another line of successfully managed credit.  When it is closed in this manner after 3 months with only a notice and no remedy it is extremely dissapointing.  I will be complaining about Comenity bank as well in another post.  Both organizations have blamed each other for this decision.
