Vamilla Visa Gift Card Rip off of gift card funds fortson Georgia

Received a gift card for Mothers Day. I went to the website on the back of the card to see if the card had to be activated and if the funds were there. After putting in the info, a message popped up that the site was going through maintenance and to check back later. I went to a store that afternoon and tried to use the card.  It was denied.  Called company and was told that the card had been used. I explained that I had not used the card. They saw where I had tried to use it earlier, but the charge showed that a 50 dollar charge was made before that.  They tried to put it on me stating I went to a fraudulent website.  I went to the website on the back of the card.  They said that a dispute will be put in and it would take up to 90 days to be resolved. They showed no concern that their website had been hacked and that I am out of 50 dollars. I am 73 years old and was very excited to receive extra money.  What can I do?
