on the 14th of March 2014, my husband received a call from the van ru collection agency who has been harrassing me for a payment of a 1,000.00 balance due.  he kept advising that he did not have the full amount, however will be able to make a monthly payment to pay off balance.   on that date someone called his number again and he agreed to make a payment of 200.00, however he spoke to a gentleman who took his credit card information right away and all the details and ran the payment for 1,000.00 instead. 

my husband on that same day, 20 min after the call had stopped at the gas station, and the credit card was declined. he stopped at the bank right away to find out why his card was declined and that is when he found out that they ran the card for 1,000.00 instead.  i would like to know how many more people are out there who has experienced this type of practise? right now, all of our monies are gone until next paycheck,

we are experiencing bounced checks from bills we were covering and banks fees due to their trick. if we would have known they would do this, we would have sent a check instead. dont be tricked by these collections agencies, do not release your credit card information.  my husband called them on that same day and got no where. they were acting as if he knew that 1,000.00 would be paid even thou he had told them otherwise.
