Vanderbilt - Clayton Homes Raw Sewage Standing In The Backyard! ripoff Maryville Tennessee

A month ago we were served with papers from the city, saying our septic system wasn't right. After filing for a permit with the city to fix it, we discovered we were sold a 4 bedroom 2 bath home, on a 2 bedroom septic system.

We contacted Vanderbilt, they said "Clayton had two choices,fix it or refund every penny we have paid",and the lady said "but they are gonna choose to fix this for you"! At first Clayton was willing to make this right,but then when they discovered how much it was going to cost,they stopped talking to us,and Vanderbilt has done the same.

We've been laughed at,hung up on,and told lie after lie. We have 4 kids,two of them in diapers, we're a low income family, but we, like everyone else had the "American Dream"we wanted a home for our kids, a place we could call our own,that dream has turned into a nightmare.

We have called every lawyer in the phone book, they listen to us then as soon as we say Clayton Mobile homes, they don't have time for a case like this. Its a money issue, we are considered "trailor trash",and there for we don't deserve justice.

We are 8 days past our deadline to have our septic fixed, because of our kids the city said they would give us a little more time, but there was only so far they could go before they had to condem our home and we had to leave. The man who sold us the home said he didn't understand why we were coming to them looking for a handout. He said we got a very good deal on the home,and we should just fix the septic ourselves. We are not looking for a handout,only whats right,and what we deserve. We can't let our kids go in the backyard because of the sewage above the ground,and the smell is horible.

There are so many problems with this home,but my husband and I have worked hard to fix most of them, but we don't have the money to do all that needs to be done to fix our septic system. We don't know where we will take our 4 kids should our home be condemed, they cannot get away with this. Someone has to help the little guys go toe to toe with these jerks!
