We went to VCA because our dog had the start of a poped blood vessel in his left ear. They did their test and gave him some meds and sent him/us on our way with a recheck in a week. We dropped $380 that day.

During our time in the office, the staff was very quite and only whispered. they were very short while speaking and cut us off everytime we had something to say.

When they called for a check up, we explained that the blood vessel now had his ear blowen up like a balloon. The person on the phone said "ok" see you at your appt and hung up. We were shocked!!! This is my family memeber we are talking about!

When we went for our check up (scheduled at 9:30am) and had to stay outside bc of cats being in the waiting room. Not once did they offer to take us to a room. (which we were 10 minutes early) No-one other car in the parking lot other than the person with the cats.

After 35 minutes of waiting they finally placed us in the room. And when the vet tech came in she once again started to address the wrong ear. I explained to her that I understand what she is explaining BUT she wasn't getting what I was trying to say.

Basically it is like you having a broken ankle and instead of taking care of that ankle you want to treat the other one. How is that helping my broken one? The vet tech couldn't give me an answer but instead told me that to see that ear it would cost me more. (keep in mind- I paid in advance for treatment for the check-up)

Seriously?? I came in for the left ear to start with, and now i find out that you aren't and haven't been treating the one with the problem in the first place. Then you are going to tell me that it is going to cost me more??

I got upset, and yes, i started to yell, this is a family member of mine that you don't care about. She then told me that my family and i could leave now and forcefully pushed us out. After touching my husband numberous times with the folder, my husband snatched out of her hands and then it got physical. 

They not only jumped on my husband and called the cops on us, they then stood in the way so we couldn't leave! He just slowly moved the van until they got out of the way and we left.

Not only did they charge me now for the wrong ear, but now you got payment from me and you will not service what I came for in the first place. It forced me to drop more money at another vet to get him help. (which compared bills is ALOT cheaper and they are treating him TODAY)
