VCStore Rebates never recieved

Hi my name is Laurie and I purchased a computer from the VCS back in march of 2000. Although they said we would recieve our computer with 6-8 weeks it took nearly 5 months. But they sure did take our $2,000 bucks surely quick through a direct debit. But the rebates. We only received one that was though the Cannon company. Now we were expecting one for $100 from the VCStore directly and a $50 one for the monitor. They recieved all our information as of October 12th 2001 and even verified that they recieved it. They even e-mailed us upon me requesting them too because you could never speak to anyone with any kind of knowledge as to what I was talking about. Finally they wrote and said they were having new computer systems put in and it would take "another two months" for the rebates to be sent out. Now it's almost been an entire year. And now I hear they filed for bankrupsy. How do you get we get our money out of these people. There no way to reach anyone. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
