VECTOR MARKETING ~ DECEPTIVE JOB OFFER ~ MANCHESTER ~ New Hampshire ~

* I had the misfortune to waste my time when finding an motice for a job offer from VECTOR MARKETING on Craig's List. When you are down on your luck or out of work you try anything. (and it did say "" compensation $ 16.50 / work week upto 45 hours) sounded good.. 16.50 x 45 = 742.50 a week / $38610.a year.I could live fine on that.!

I called them and the girl who answered was pleasant enough at first, asking for my information, and tried to set me up with an appointment less then One hour from the present time (????). I told her that I had a few questions first... and that my time as well as theirs is valuable.. * BUT I WAS TOLD ~ "Any questions will be answered at the interview !" ..... Now I understand that they dont want to get tied up talking to 'potentials', but it usually means there is something to hide also.!

I typed "VECTOR" into Google to read up about their company before going on the interview tomorrow. I stumbled across numerous bad article about them..
Then I read " RIP-OFF REPORT" .. And there were NUMEROUS article here about them .. So I called VECTOR back, And said that I had a few questions that ..I WANTED ANSWERS TO ...!

It seems this is a "entrepreneur job" and you are a independent contractor and responsible for your own taxes and health insurance and any other fee or taxes you will see come April 15th. (so say goodbye to a decent salery)..

Well, When questioned , she kept saying that it's 'customer assistance' .. Well. I wondered.. "Assisting" with what ? I asked "Is it sales ?" "Some of it" she replied, "but mainly 'assisting'...!" It comes down to you are "ASSISTING" customers to BUY your products..
In other words it SALES !!! Plain and Simple ! Oh, and this ASSISTING is done by appointment, at the CUSTOMERS place of business or residence... So now it's "TRAVELING SALESMAN" ..Well.. But with that GREAT salary it, it could be worth it... Oh con'traire my friend.. mIt's NOT $16.50 per hour...
It's $16.50 PER APPOINTMENT ...So to earn a decent slaery like we where thinking.. You'd need to SET UP AND TRAVEL to EIGHT APPOINTMENTS a DAY !
Try just setting up eight a day .. No less finding eight that are available to drive to ALL in ONE day.!!!

And unpaid training is NOT acceptable to me for ANY job.
And I got scammed once before with "UNPAID MEETINGS" that YOU had to actually PAY for to "BETTER YOURSELF" ...

Well, the girls attitude changed and she got very rude and snippy, and said "Well, lets get YOU name off the appointment list ! " I HUNG UP ! Let them just Wait for Me.. I don't care ...

SORRY, This is NOT a JOB..!

It a money maker for those running the company !
