I signed up with Vemma Corporation and Vemma Builder a while back, but before I made the decision both Vemma Corporation and Vemma Builder kept bragging about how great Vemma Builder was in helping to promote your business, as well as give a false impression that they would get you leads. Instead, they kept trying to pressure many people into joining other leads companies, and make up so many lies about how Vemma Builder was all you needed to help promote your business. It is a terrible way of scamming people, and I would watch out for both these companies.

They were very dishonest, and advertised misleading ads. I called the company to complain, but neither of them wanted to help. Here are the list of names of people that were very misleading: Wendy Bengolis, Ron Saunders and Dr. Kay Davies. I have all emails for prove it.

There are so many companies on the internet advertising in the same way, and ripping off so many people.

Vemma builder is not required for Vemma

AUTHOR: Chris - (USA)

POSTED: Friday, August 28, 2009

Vemmabuilder is a tool that you can pay extra for and use to help promote your referral business. It tracks visitors to your site and sends out automatic emails to people who have filled out the form on your VemmaBuilder site.  Having a VB site will not make it so you don't have to do anything, you still need to follow up with people personally.  YOU DO NOT HAVE TO HAVE A VEMMABUILDER TO PARTICIPATE IN THE REFERRAL PROGRAM.

I started using Vemma recently because a friend of mine got involved in it primarily for the business aspect. He brought me some Vemma and a can of the Verve energy drink.  I didn't care much for the Verve, but I did like the regular Vemma, it tastes a lot like orange chewable vitamins. My decision to join the program was based on the product.  If I didn't like the product then I would never have joined.  I would recommend anyone thinking about going with Vemma do the same thing. If you wouldn't buy the product on its own then do not try to join the business.  All that will happen is you won't believe in the product and you won't want to refer anyone, and you will end up with a huge stockpile of stuff you don't want.

Most people that report referral programs like this as a scam go into it thinking they will make money overnight and/or they put no effort into it. Here are some truths that you need to understand before you join an "mlm" company.

1. While there is no actually selling, selling meaning taking orders and delivering products like you would with Avon or Mary Kay, you do have to know some sales techniques and you do sell the idea of the business or the product to your friends.  Like I said before, if you don't believe in it, you won't do this very well. You also will have to call some people, but again, these are not cold calls.  Cold calls means you get a phone list and call people that have not show interest.  With Vemma, someone visits your website, fills out their information and you give them a call or email them. that is warm calling.

2.You will not get rich overnight, and you probably won't get rich EVER.  Now there are some people that make six figure incomes doing network marketing, but it is their job and their life. Most of us are not going to do that.  We will refer a few of our friends and that will probably be it, but within a few months you can easily be making a couple hundred extra per month.

3. You will have to put money and time into it. It is a BUSINESS, you have to promote it and you have to invest in it. If you do not have a business mindset or can't accept the idea that you will spend money to make money down the road, DO NOT SIGN UP FOR VEMMA or any other business opportunity.  I am also a real estate agent and you have to put in a lot of time and money before you ever see results, it is how business works.

4. Buying the products is what  makes the program work. In essence, you are creating your own market. I hear some people claim that as much as 50% of your order goes to the person above you, that is totally bogus! In Vemma, the person above you generally gets $4 for your $60 a month order. Everyone is buying the product and the company stays in business.  One thing that separates Vemma from other MLMs is that Vemma and Verve are sold at retail locations like gas stations and gyms.  I hear the claim, if you have to put money into it then it is a scam!  What?!  Let me ask you this, does your company pay for your gas to drive to work?  I highly doubt it.  Do they pay for the dress clothes you have to wear? I highly doubt it.  You make investments to work your job, and I bet most of us spend more than $60 a month in gas just to get to work.

I know a lot of people considering joining Vemma check this site to see what is up. Well, ask yourself these questions.  Would I buy this product even if I didn't have a chance to make money?  Am I willing to put in the time and money it takes to make money?  Can I stomach the fact that I probably won't make money for at least a few months?  If you can answer yes to those then go to www.myvemma.com/chrishipp and sign up.  If not, please don't waste your time or anyone else's.

It seems to me that you did not put any effort into building this as a business... You must not have personally enrolled any members to activate and qualify your membership...it sounds like You simply wanted the Vemma Builder Computer Program to build it for you. YOU REEP WHAT YOU SEW...YOU DIDNT SEW.... I started taking the Vemma Nutrition on recomendation of my doctor..It is amaizing!!!! The Phoenix Suns just anounced that Vemma/Verve is thier official energy drink --- It is not a Pyrimid! (A JOB IS A PYRIMID) I highly doubt that the NBA attourneys have been serching high and low for a scam and when they saw Vemma said ( oooohhh sign us up )

A extremely satisfied Vemma Customer

Network Marketing and MLM is always a scam in the wrong hands

AUTHOR: Vemma Scam - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, July 27, 2007

Hello,

I came across this website (really great resource btw) in doing my own research on web key words involving Vemma. I just had to comment on this complaint.

I have a sales background and went to school for marketing. I worked a normal 8am to 9pm (no you didn't mis-read that) job for quite a number of years. Needless to say I wanted a change! We all do. That is why so many of us are attracted to the promises of MLM or Network marketing.

Some of the rebuttals are spot on. This is a job, a career, a profession. You have to treat it as such. It is important to be creative, proactive, and become a professional marketer. Only then will you be successful.

I will say this. When I speak at meetings I make sure to get people excited about the opprotunity, but I'm very careful not to hype. Actually everytime I speak I make it very clear, "if you are looking for a free ride, an easy buck, and no work or talking to people, this is not for you."

sorry, allowing you to give a competitors name would instigate others to just file against their competition, to only come back later to suggest their company your comments on this policy are welcome! Vemma and what the public needs to understand.

AUTHOR: Steven - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, June 11, 2007

Hello.....I've been a member with Vemma since it's inception and I have has wounderful results with the product an continue to consume Vemma to this day.

I believe that when an individual makes the descion to build their dreams, they have to understand that even thou it takes money to build it, we have to use our heads and build our buisinesses in the old school, bread and butter skills of word of mouth marketing.

Vemmabuilder etc. I never put mind into these lead generating programs cause it's a waste of time and money.

As long as we as distributors help each other out by TEACHING life skills in this industry, we are going to learn something not just for our financial health, but for everyday living...

Forget about the quick way to be rich...build it one day at a time.

Vemma builder story

AUTHOR: Ryan - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, March 17, 2007

just to let you know my Vemmabuilder story:

I joined VB in may 2005 i joined because i was told that there was absolutely NO SELLING in bold letters ( i know im a fool to have believed that)... they also said that i had $$$ comming if i upgraded by thursday midnight so i fell for it (once again i was a fool)....they did however follow through on there promise i did receive a $5 check from them a few weeks ago (But i put $60 in for the product so i lost $55 ) the $5 was part of there compensation plan i found out later after speaking to a Mr. Daniel Dereere that this was a network marketing opportunity. I TOld him... but on the website it said in bold letters..... NO SELLING he said your right there is no selling because the product (VEMMA) SELLS ITS SELF. I was like Vemma does not sell itself.... Vemma is a "JUNK JUICE " or to put it more nicely a "FRUIT SMOOTHIE" if Vemma "sold itself" lol it would be on the market and not part of a pyramid. In any case of course i Quit VB because of the deciet they lead me. They then wanted me to join a system called Duplicationbydesign that no longer exists because it is a call center now... before it was a opportunity but if youd like to look at the website it is/was www.duplicationbydesign.com They wanted me to join by paying one time $349 or something..... and make cold calls which is what ntwork marketing.. but as you can see on the VB website... they also say "no cold calling (of course another lie) in any case that is my story....... I do not recommend VB to anyone...the product stinks (they say there are all these benefits) but in reality its just another one of those "junk juices" just like mono vie, fruta veta etc. All Scam artists and deceitful liars!

Is MLM is not a pyramid but what's the plan?

AUTHOR: Tom - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, March 16, 2007

First from what I've read Vemma Builder is an MLM type marketing system. The only difference between MLM and a pyramid that I know of is that MLM at least is "based" on a real product. That is fine as long as the focus is on a worthy product. It's when the product becomes secondary to recruiting your down line that I become suspicious. There are numerous people and companies marketing real products on E-Bay. If Vemma is a good product it may be a good thing to sell this way. Be careful though. There are numerous companies telling you how to market on E-Bay. Some are good, some not so good. I think even with the good ones it will take a good size investment and a lot of hard work to be successful just like any other business.

Nothing is for free

AUTHOR: Sherrie - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, December 21, 2006

I would just like to comment on Devorha's complaint. What I find with most of the people out searching for a Home Based Business is they are all looking for a free ride. If you are going to get into a business then you need to do the responsible thing and research the company you are going to get involved in.

When most people find out that they have to not only invest their time but money as well to develope a stable business they think it it's a scam. Well if you can produce me any kind of reputable business owner that has not invest both of the above I will appoligize to you personally.

I commend this company Vemma on the opportunity that they are giving people to reach out and do something worth while for themselves and their families. For people lik Devorha, you just need to continue working for other people because that's where you are most comfortable, but let the rest of us do something great in our lives. I commend all of those at Vemma from the top to the bottom of that company.

Thank You for the opportunity that you have give us!!
Sherrie

Don't know what you are talking about....

AUTHOR: Wendy - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, May 17, 2006

My name is Wendy Bongalis and I am very offended that my name is listed here in this Rip Off Report. I have taken the highest standard when recruiting new member's to join my business that I designed 11 specific messages to PreEnrollee's (people who take the tour of my website) specifically telling them very very detailed information about the business and how they earn money. Never have I promised anyone leads or mislead them into thinking that VemmaBuilder provides leads for you. I think that if someone doesn't understand the Compensation Plan (which I detail) throughly in my PreEnrollee letters then they don't understand how to make money. Vemma is a Dual Line Compensation Plan and it does help you towards the biggest bonus we earn called the Cycle Bonus Pay when other people join (even if you did not bring into the business.)

I myself, send a very detailed 1st email to any member's who I enroll into Vemma telling them that any method they choose is called "Spread the Word" you can choose to "Spread the Word" by any method that would entail telling other people about Vemma. There are methods that do not cost a single extra cent. Any method you choose would be worthwhile if you have the determination and willingness to put forth an effort.

I myself use E-Mail Marketing, but I specifically buy leads of Opportunity Seekers.

I am defending myself and upset that I have been clumped into a group of other Vemma Leaders who do not support or help their groups.

Sinerely

Wendy Bongalis
