I contacted Charles Beasley after seeing an ad to build a vending business with his assistance.  Vending Developers agreed to assist in building a vending route with their unique contacts in the bottling industry.  They asked for a partial payment up front.  They advertised the placement of the machines as part of the location service.

Vending Developers then contacted a bottling company in the area.  They negotiated agreements with sites such as apartment complexes, office buildings, etc where they felt walk-in traffic is enough to support the placement of a softdrink machine.  The projected revenue per location is supposedly $100-$150 per week as advertised by Mr. Beasley.

They then put me in touch with the route representative of the soft drink company who would deliver the machines to the locations they had secured.  The route representative and I went to half of the locations that had been secured.  However, there were no machines available to place in the other locations secured so I was told to wait and be patient.

While waiting, I've been going to service the machines that had been placed.  The anticipated revenue has yet to be achieved.  One location has consistently grossed $50 per week, another has grossed $40 weekly, and two others have fluctuated between $10 and $30 per week.

Vending Developers was made aware of the lackluster sales.  Their response was to be patient as it took time for sales to materialize.  Although, they advertise that they will move nonperforming machines to new locations at no expense to the route owner.

While waiting for the remaining machines to come, and sales to materialize, the bottling company was sold to another entity. Vending Developers stated that they knew nothing of the pending sale.  With the sale, the delivery of the machines has fallen through the cracks.  The contact that was in place supposedly moved to another position and couldn't assist in aquiring the machines that I'd already paid Vending Developers to put in place. Each time that I called Vending Developers for assistance to help me get some progress on my route development, their response was that they had no idea of where to go from here.  There was nothing that they could do although they haven't been willing to refund any money for services not rendered.

I've been waiting for months now and there has been no progress on machines for sites that I'm owed.  Vending Developers told me to get the Soft Drink company to move machines.  Unfortunately, I've attempted to get assistance in servicing a machine without success.  I couldn't get assistance moving the machine from one spot on the same property to another.  The total experience to date has been a nightmare.  The return on my investment has been minimal at best.

Below is a list of some of the promises Vending Developers made when selling their service to me in an email from Jennifer.

Thank you for taking an interest in our program.

The bottling company does own the machines but that is a good thing. Let me explain why you do not want to own the machines. If you use the bottling company's machines you never have to worry about repairs they do all of them for free, they deliver the machines for you to your locations for free, they will come move the machine if ever needed for free, they will give you free upgrades on your machines for the life of your route, you would not be responsible for any vandalism, they will deliver all your product to your storage unit and it is all free. If you own your machine it will cost around $3,000-$3,500 per machine plus all of the previously mentioned cost makes it horrible to own your machines with no real advantages. Did you know just to replace a dollar bill acceptor it is about $300 and a compressor is around $1,200?! At prices like that it is easy to see why it is better to not own the machines.
If any locations are not performing up to our standards we replace it free of charge to you. We will replace as many locations that need it as many times as needed until your route is performing as expected. We replace any locations that have low volume, have trouble with vandalism or just change their mind about having the machine unless it is through fault of your own by not servicing the machine and keeping it stocked. We guarantee your route to be profitable for you.

Have you checked out my web site vendingdevelopers.com? It is under construction but, should answer most of your questions then you can get back with me and we can talk. But basically it goes like this: You sign up on our program and we contact all the bottlers in your area to secure machines for your new business. Then we pick the company that gives you the best deal. After we have the machines for your route we then start calling to secure the locations to place your machines. We send the location contracts to you as soon as we get them. You then turn over the info to the soda companies and they deliver the machines, you then go and fill the machines, then go back each week and refill them. The machines average $100-$150 each per weekly service x ten machines = on the low side $1000 a week = $50,000 a year. Not bad for a $9,995 investment is it? A route is worth one year’s gross so it’s just that easy to turn $9,995 into $50,000.
