On 5/15/2012. I called the Ventura County Sex offender Registry unit to report a noncompliant sex offender. I spoke with Alyse Quiroz, Badge #P367, who is in charge keeping Sex Offenders compliant. I explained that I knew of Peter Roa's whereabouts. Peter Roa, is not wanted as a noncompliant Sex Offender Registrant, but is also wanted for Domestic Violence. Alyse, insisted that Peter Roa was out of the state and would not take my information seriously. After being hung up on, I called her supervisor, Karen Karyan, badge # P304, who was also indifferent and also hung up on me. On 5/17/2012 at approximately 03:15pm, Peter Roa approached my sister at her residence, in Santa Barbara, Ca. My sister had explained the incident to me and we called the police to make a report.
Why is Alyse Quiroz protecting this Sex Offender and not the community is a mystery. Why her supervisor is indifferent and protecting Alyse from protecting the community is criminal.
This is scary. We depend on Alyse and Karen to keep Sex Offenders compliant. When an upstanding citizen reports the whereabouts of a noncompliant sex offender, shouldn't she do her job to protect society?
I filed a complaint with the Watch Commander Mark Stadler badge # P234 and followed up with Watch Commander Reynoso, Badge # P213 on 5/17/2012.
