Received in postal mail today a envelope with documents from a company called Venture2000 Consumer Research Group claiming that thur a survey they knew I was looking for part-time employment and where offering me a job as a mystery shopper. RED FLAG 1. I'm disabled

Included in the documents was a check for 3,888.18 drawn on a suntrust bank account with a different company name on the check. RED FLAG 2. why two different names for one company when I goggled the company name and address on the check it came back as a metal fabrication shop RED FLAG 3. you don't get something for nothing.

I goggled the phone number and what was listed was Venus Monitoring and research group, HOMELIFE GROUP,INC, Briggs & Stratton Dev; Inc, all the listings were on fraud sites.

goggled the p.o. box number that was given as the mailing address which came back to a telecommunications company in Atlanta. RED FLAG 4. no physical address and p.o. box belongs to someone else.

I notified the metal company and the telecommunications company that their bank account information and addresses where being used for a mail scam. I also notified the postal department.

Do yourself a favor and ask questions like did I fill out a application, how many companies pay you before you work or fill out state and federal wage forms, how many companies require that you send them money thur Western Union, MoneyGram.

If your still in doubt at least do a little research before you go head on into trouble.
