While disputing some other "bogus" charges with Verizon, I happened to notice a charge for $16.22 for "Total Protection Plus" on the Verizon bill. It read like a charge, form Verizon, for some type of "wire maintenance" program. After digging thru numerous pages of the "same old, same old" I realized that we were somehow being billed for a "voicemail box with (and this is the KICKER) ID THEFT PROTECTION"!!!!!!
After researching "ESBI", "Total Protection Plus", "VoiceXpress", and "Verizon" I have come to the conclusion that ALL of these companies are "directly" or "In-Directly" (more like turning a blind eye) to "FRAUD BY DECEIPT", "SLAMMING", whatever. Where I come from we just call it "STEALING".
