Verizon Hawaii - OAN Services - USA Voicemail Partners in Phone Fraud ripoff Honolulu, Hawaii

I'm not the first to be the victim of USA Voicemail's "cramming" scam. However, the spotlight needs be shone brightly on the other partners in this scam in my neck of the woods, Verizon Hawaii and USA Voicemail's so-called "billing clearinghouse", OAN Services.

Verizon states that they suspended billing services for OAN Services back in September. Yet, after assuring me that the fraudulent charges from these scammers would be removed and no further third-party charges would be placed on my bill, I discover not just another charge from OAN Services, but a NEW charge from yet another scam group, ESBI, a so-called clearinghouse for "VoiceMail Services".

I've had it. At what point do we hold the local phone companies responsible for this? Verizon Hawaii as well as all local phone companies have the responsibility to vet and investigate any company it bills and collects charges for. A six year old could simply Google any of these outfits and discover the mountains of complaints and bad press about their practices.

Since Verizon Hawaii and the rest of these phone companies are certainly paid a fee to process these fraudulent charges, I submit that they are an active participant in this fraud and should be held just as accountable. Their refusal to remove and block these charges as promised is careless at best and fraudulent at worst.

A class action suit is in order.
