I bought a 4G Jetpack MiFi at Walmart with a GB usage card at Walmart.  Who is connected with Verizon.  I was told the 3GB of usage was only affected by downloads or uploads.  I have now found out that everything you do on the internet, including this complaint counts against your usage.  So, you are paying to use the internet at an very high rate.

Verizon, Walmart, Walmart Corporate are taking advantage of peoples lack of understanding of how the WiFi really works.  I am suppose to get 3G coverage and was told that I would get 4G coverage.  Someone help people understand what Verizon is doing to people.  They are misrepresenting their product and their coverage, and are guilty of fraud.

That same happen to me and I received a Bill of $1056 for 7 days of Internet usage. If you think about it that's a year worth of phone service! Just the thought of charging someone that kind of money should be illegal.

not only that,  verizon must have switches in their programming, for my jet pack is always slowing itself down and loosing signal to 1 bar at the event, of, a certain amount of time.   One moment I have 3-4 bar signal, then all of a sudden, it is only one bar.  And color changes to purple.  3 g...   But in the event of speed,  all download speeds are always faster then upload.   Yes, it is fraud.  But, I have not known any ISP provider to ever give you the right thing.  They are all liars.  But this one, takes the  cake, for I know they are with programming the switches of to slow me down, after I have been on for say, an hour.  IF I turn it off and leave it,  for say, 30 min, it will go back to 4 G, and 4 bars.   So, do know, that this is what they are doing to the public...   They are a rip off.  And as soon as I can,  I will go to using someone else, no doubt....   They remind me of the laser weapons on the trade centers, and wonderful daddy bush.

all data that is transferred over the internet is considered uploaded or downloaded, clicking a link is an upload to a server that instructs it to download the webpage to your browser. you can consider it transmitting or receiving, most data is recieved (downloaded) but anytime you request anything your uploading (transmitting). all data such as instant messages and facebook updates also are in the categories of up or downloading.
