I had signed up for a triple play bundle pack, it was a landline phone, internet and direct tv. It was supposed to be $84.99 per month plus taxes for 2 years.

I has signed up during a merger with frontier that I knew nothing about at the time.

The only thing I had to pay up front was a $20.00 instal fee, then I got a bill a few days later for $49.00 so I called in and they had no record of that and to dis-reguard it. Then I get a bill for $150.00 I call back in several times until I get someone who knows what they are talking about and I had my case sent to the next level, they assured me it would be taken care of and not to pay anything until it was straightend out. I call back because I got yet another bill for $400.00 and the agent argued with me that they never offered anything for $84.99, I have a print screen of it. Then they billed me $200 more for unbundling which I never did. Now I have a $600 and something bill that I refuse to pay. I get no where with them when I call in. Now I just pay for direct tv and thats all.

Yes I ordered this online. And I paid $20.00 actavationfee up front before services were turned on, I had called them an install fee in the report. I will continue to fight with them because I was lied to. I am calling PUCO today to see what they can suggest.

A couple of questions for you...

In your report, you didn't mention HOW you ordered Verizon's bundle package. Did you order over the Internet or by phone? The bundle package prices shown are if you order them over the Internet. You state the first bill you received was for $49.00. According to what is shown on the screen print you provided...the bundle you selected does not indicate that free activation is included. (This MAY explain the $49.00 bill you received; it could be for activation).

As for the rest of the charges you mentioned...it does sound a bit odd AND quite high. The only suggestion I can make is to be persistent until you can obtain a satisfactory resolution of your dispute with Verizon. If you are able to access your account on-line, you may want to log-in and pull up your current bill to see exactly what the charges are for.

Good luck.
