Versatalk - Teleflex - Vac Pack Travel Agent ripoff! won't cancel trial offers or refund your money Holiday Florida

Over a year ago a company contacted me about a vacation package to the Ramada Plaza Hotel in Orlando, Florida. We gave them our account information and they charge us $149.00 for the package.

We never used the vacation and it expired. Then about one month ago a man contacted me about the package and asked if I would like to extend it for noe more year.

He explained to me that there would be a one time fee of $50.00 to be paid on february 2, 2005. They drafted my acount for that amount. They then proceeded to draft an additional $30.00 and another company called versatalk took $49.95. all of them on the same day.

When I contacted the company listed on the draft ( Vac Pack Travel Agent 888-320-6847) he told me that the $30.00 was a refundable deposit when we arrived at the hotel. When asked about the $49.95 to versa talk he exlpained that it was a long distance company that we were given a trial offer to.

He told me to contact the company and cancel the offer. I did on february 15, 2005. the computer handled the call and the cancellation. I checked my account today 03-18-05 and not only eas there no refund of the first $49.95 but they drafted another $49.95 on 03-02-05.

I contacted versa talk at 877-494-7363 and the first lady seemed as though she had no clue of how to do her job. her music was loudly playing in the back ground and she eventually hung up on me and made no attempt to call back even though she has my number.

I called back a few minutes later and spoke with a young man. he stated that I was speaking to the wrong company and gave me a different number 866-821-8674 for teleflex. he stated that teleflex was the company that had my account despite the fact that i pointed out versa talk had drafted my acount. he was then rude and evasive.

I called teleflex and spoke with Hydie Roman. I explained everything to her and told her of the reports on this web site. she said she would cancell the offer and i had to write to the company for a refud at the address listed on this report. WE'LL see what happens? I also contacted my bank as suggeted in another complaint listed on this web site to dipute the charges.
