Veterans Affairs - Cendant - PHH Mortgage Ripoff Forced into Foreclosure Less than 2 weeks to be a Homeless Veteran and Expose My INFO Mt Laurel New Jersey

Over Five years ago I decided to buy a house, being a Veteran, I got a VA loan thru then Cendant Mortgage.Told by the VA that they would do the house inspection and no need for an attorney for closing,stupid me believed them. I walk into a nightmare after closing,3" of dead flies on every window sill, rats in the basement,sliding glass door falling out of the wall,too much to put into this report. To this day I don't have a copy of the Home Inspection or Survey.

Then three years ago, I had fallen behind on a mortgage payment or two, so made arrangements to pay them back. Everytime I got close to being paid up I would get a notice that they didn't receive my payment,since they were Bank Checks I had them traced but Cendant would stall longer enough before giving me credit to make me behind again. Ask help from VA takes 3 months for answer.No Help.

Last year, now PHH Mortgage stopped taking my payments. Tried to get help from VA, She tried but no answer. I got foreclosure papers in March,notify the VA. I was on winter lay-off, collecting unemployment, so the VA said to get a job. I got 2.Truck delievery by day;Selling Air purification systems by night,a 16 hour day.

The Va said they would try to buy the loan & reduce the rate from over 8 to 6.Advised by Va not to get a Lawyer involved. That started in April. I was rejected because they said my second job didn't qualify. My Boss wrote a letter stating it was a quarantee income. Total income around $4000+-for a $70,000 mortgage.Then no responds from VA for two weeks. Final answer on May 30th ,Second income not good, sorry nothing can do,"Try to sell your house". Foreclosure Auction Date June 13. Tried to do the Right Thing but got screwed. Homeless in less than two weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm one of the Veterans' whose info was stolen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
