Victor M. Szurgot Linda Szurgot Rip-off from Renters Chesterton Indiana

We rented an apartment from Mr. Szurgot. We paid $800 for security deposite. He never fixed problems in the apprtment. We complained about outside light brocken, grage light not working, and other things from the day we rented. Instead of fixing these, when we moved out he charged us to get these fixed from our security deposite. We were charged for keys that we were never given. When we got the apartment the carpet was not cleaned, however he charged us $320 for carpet cleaning when we moved out. This was after we cleaned the carpet spotless with a shampoo cleaner, but he needed it clean by a professional cleaner for no reason. If you rent from this guy, forget about getting your security deposite back. They come to show the appartment without prior calling and threten that they can take 3 month worth of rent if we don't agree to show. We had to show about 7 times in a very short period. I hope this will stop him from ripping-off others.
