Virgin America Airlines Virgin America ripped me off for $349.00 Burlingame Internet

I booked a flight on line to NY. The engagement was cancelled so I called to cancel my flight from San Francisco to0 NY and was told that my ticket was NON REFUNDABLE. Virgin America Airlines ripped me off for $349.00!! I have never heard of a policy in America where the refund would not be given.

I made the reservation May17Th for a departure of June 25Th. I canceled the reservation on May 21st. Ample time to cancel a flight with enough time for the airlines to rebook the flight and not loose the fare. I called the customer service and they rudely told me that they do not give refunds no matter what the circumstances.

Does this mean that if you book a flight with Virgin America and become ill, or have a death in the family or another hardship case that you are out the money you spent to book the flight? YES!! You are screwed by Virgin America Airlines NO MATTER WHAT!!! I hope in this economy that this airlines goes out of business soon. I am unemployed and facing homelessness. I can't afford to loose $349.00 but I was ripped off and now I am suffering because I chose to do business with Virgin America Airlines. BEWARE!!!
