It amazes me that you are so insensitive to the long term unemployed and think it is a figment of the long term unemployed's imagination. A third of this country is out of work right now. Be thankful your smug a** has a job, troll. 

Where is the ripoff?? All I see is someone who has a DEBT and is being forced to pay it off. Exactly how long were you expecting them to let YOU slide on what you owe?? When you BORROW money, the lender has the right to ask for their money BACK!! They lend it to you but there is interest. Maybe you should NOT take out loans if you have no plans to pay it back. You "claim" you are long term unemployed. It amazes me that OTHER people can find a job. Heck even illegal immigrants can get a job. Is it a lack of jobs YOU want to do? Or a actual lack of jobs? Either way, YOU took out a loan of some form and NOW they want their money. This is BASIC math here. If youre THAT longterm unemployed, how did you expect to pay back any debt??

You cant play the victim here. What you are calling cold and heartless is just them wanting what YOU legally owe. While it may be uncomfortable for you especially that you are being treated like a deadbeat, it IS NOT illegal, it IS NOT immoral. IT IS their legal right to request what YOU owe. You can CRY and WHINE all you like, it STILL doesnt change YOUR RESPONSABILITIES!!!

Put yourself in THEIR shoes for a few mins and MAYBE you will gain some clarity. YOU owe them. THEY want what si theirs. YOU agreed to certain payments on a certain date. YOU did NOT make these so they sued you. This way you cant just skipout on what you owe. By having a LEGAL LEIN placed against YOU. How would YOU feel if all you got to listen to is sob stories and hard luck cases? How would YOU feel if someone owed you a good chunk of money and simply REFUSED to pay it back? YOU would do the same thing and to even consider saying you wouldnt would only show you for the liar you are.

This credit union is NOT your charity!  They are also NOT your clergyman, mother, financial advisor, bar tender or family counselor.  "Long term unemployed"???  Why?  Double WHY?????  After awhile the excuse gets worn out.  You are long term unemployed because YOU chose to be long term unemployed.  If there are NO JOBS, then why are there jobs listed in classified sections of newspapers and in other media???
