 So I applied for a Data Entry/Office Admin on www.wheretechsconnect.com. A few days later I received an email from kathy jones jones_kathy93@yahoo.com stating that they will like to set up an interview with me with Virginia Perkins VIA yahoo instant messenger. Mind, you everything is already screaming red flags to me, especially operating off a yahoo email account instead of a business email address like most companies, but I continue to proceed to see where it goes.

I was asked to be ready at 9AM. Virginia or whoever this person is, was almost ten minutes late, another red flag. Once she came on she asked if we can proceed. She posted a full company info for Shilpa Medicare http://www.vbshilpa.com/profile.htm, which "seems" like a legitimate company. She then told me to go to the website and review for 10mins. During this time is when I took the time to google Virginia Perkins and the Ripoff Report popped up with someone else describing the same exact thing lol.

So at this point I am not upset I am more amused and continued to let this person try to scam me. She then gave me a description of the job duties and was told that I will work from home until the new branch in Atlanta opens up in September 30th 2013. Mind you, the job description is not what I applied for, nor was the description something I had experience in because there was a lot of accounting involved. But she clearly did not care about my experience on that.

I was hired on the spot lol all they asked for was my full name and why I would be great for the job and briefly explain my experiences. After I was told that I was hired, I asked about the pay and hours. She told me it was $21 per hour with full benefits and that they will send me an email with more info. Also stated that they will mail me a check to me in order to purchase the software program needed for work. She then asked me to email her my full name, phone number, home address to duffy.lilian@yahoo.com so her "superior" can send out more info to me. I can tell "virginia perkins" first language is not english.

Even though there were clear signs of BS I am thankful that I was able to find out from other people on here that this is definitely a Scam!
