Folks - this company is a doosey.
They have some hyped-up marketer spew claims of starting a business at "virtually" no cost and how one can make a pile of dough by enrolling in advertisers programs, then cancelling these same enrollments after their introductory trial offer periods, thereby earning the VPA programs enrollment fee refund. At the very least, the program plays on advertisers rebating real dollars because they insist advertisers gladly "pay" for traffic. This is all an idiotic camouflage to get to the programs real intent - i.e. enroll.....enroll.....enroll. Pump overpriced learning products and make tons by sharing in learning to market....guess what??....Voila!!!! overpriced learning products.

These hucksters make exagerated claims of how the pyramid works to the point of earning $300-400K after only one year. Yeah, right!!! Guess who makes this type of dough.

I thank God I swore not to get involved until I investigated the legitimacy of getting back my initial membership fee....guess what? I signed up for all the advertisers programs, requested the return of my membership fee (as told to me by the company) and you know what I got?....what do you see when you close your eyes? After repeated requests I received no response.

Folks...keep you $100 and do not be fooled by these scammers. The only people making $$ in this mirage is the person blowing into your ear... while picking your pocket..his name is Gary Danko.

Don't be suckered into empty promisses they offer. TRUST ME---- They won't be around in a year from now

Retraction - Virtual Profit Academy (VPA) Is Real

AUTHOR: Skbrandt - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, May 27, 2008

All differences with VPA existed due to a combination of misunderstandings in new programs and execution processes, and the interpretation of procedures required for successful implementation of their program.

Contact with the company has yielded a clearer definition of their marketing plan , and I am satisfied that this business has merit for interested parties.

Virtual Profit Academy - The Real Story

AUTHOR: Gary Danko - President - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, May 24, 2008

1. First of all, Virtual Profit Academy does not offer an opportunity to "make a pile of dough by enrolling in advertisers programs, then cancelling these same enrollments after their introductory trial offer periods" as the person submitting this report claims. We temporarily offered a rebate program where a person could earn points by taking advantage of some of the offers of our advertisers. Our website clearly stated that to qualify for the rebate one had to earn 10 points and that all 10 points had to be confirmable with our advertisers. This gentleman only earned 5 of those points and thus no rebate was issued.

2. We are a course and seminar company that teaches online and offiline sales and marketing skills. As the owner of the company, I've done this type of training very successfully for many years and have many satisfied clients. I would hardly call our courses and seminars over-priced. We charge $99.95 for a one-year membership to our basic training package which includes 2 one-hour teleseminars every week and access to our Dynamics of Success Course which is about 6 1/2 hours of information on how to build a business that normally sells for $295 all by itself. If anything we delivery WAY more than we promise.

3. This is not a "pyramid scheme". We offer our learning products directly to the public and we have an affiliate program that pays one one-tier...therefore we are not even considered to be an MLM company.

4. As far as not being around a year from now goes...I've already been around doing this type of training for close to 13 years and have help many people achieve the success they've been looking for.

In closing I'll say that no matter how good you are...how good you try to be...or how far you are willing to bend to satisfy your customers....there are ALWAYS going to be a few who are not able to be satisfied.

I'm not angry with the gentleman who posted this complaint because I'm sure he is very upset about something in his life that caused him to go off on a tangent like this...but with all due respect...and in all honesty...everything we do is in writing and extremely well documented.

We're not here to hurt or "rip off" anyone and never have been. There is a lot to learn from our training materials for those who take the time to study and apply them to their business.
