Visa China.
Looking at the Visa Express web page, one gets the impression how easy and fast they can issue a Visa. The normal period is 4 days. They do a lot in order to get you to order a same day process and $70 more for that.
I forwarded the the application forms April 26, it was received and signed at the office in Houston at 10.51am 29. Plenty of time. My trip to Shanghai was scheduled to be Mai 11. In the morning of May 4th my rally with Houston began, first by 2-3 emails. No response and finally blocked. Then by phone Friday morning the 5th to get the message that my pass port and green card could not be found. "Oh", the lady said, "what was your name? - it's laying here ... you didn't fill out the third and final application...". That was not exactly the service a service agency should be proud of - they had my email address written on the application and 3 from me that they could have answered. But my enclosed $169 check was already cashed! Money Yes, Service No!

It was my fault, not to study the initial instructions from this company good enough. I filled it out, signed it and faxed it as they required. They received the fax at 11:08:14 that Friday, exactly 38 minutes too late for that day's work.
However ... The time was running, and now as a sudden I was in need of using their "24-Hour-Rush-Service" - and naturally pay the high extra fees for that, on top of that also extra overnight charges. To my question about if I could have the visa Tuesday May 10 was answered with "rather Wednesday"!!!

Today is Tuesday May 10. Have now called the company several times during the day. Is the visa arriving today? "No, we didn't make". Call in an hour. Then call in 20 minutes. Had to use two different phones at the same time because of the long waiting time of the lady who simply blocked the connection. Using the other phone and catching her 5 minutes before closing hour, she admitted that the visa not yet got prepared???
To my question about what the purpose would be to pay $170 for the Rush-Service, the answer was: "You know, we submit the applications within the agreed rush hours, but in this case we are waiting for the Chinese Embassy to bring the visa."
Oh, that is how the 24-hour term has to be understood.
Am I totally out of my mind, not being able to understand the following Visa Express promise the right way?:
"If applications require Urgent (Same-day) service or Rush (24 hours) service ... Applications received after 10:30 AM will be processed [PROCESSED!] the next business day."
