Received a Visa gift card via US Bank as a retirement gift, set it aside.  Decided to now make use of it, two years later.  Registered it and found out I had only 3.00 left.   2.00 a month service charge, yes I guess I should have read the fine print right away, but with everything going on at the time I just didn't.

So if you ever decide to buy a gift card for a someone, please, be discreet and read the fine print on the back and let that person who is the receiver know they need to use it right away if there are maintance charges.   This is just another disdainful and disingenuous act by big banks feeding off the little guys on the bottom of the food chain.

The size of the bank has NOTHING to do with this.  YOU failed to read the terms and conditions...PERIOD!!!
