I purchased a 32" Visco TV from wal-mart.com in june of 07. The first one quit in the first month and walmart said that my only option was to wait for a second to be sent and use that box to return the bad one. This one starting show black areas and the dvd connections on the back quit working. Now the whole picture is gone and walmart says I have owned it too long and have to contact Visco. Visco wants it sent to them insured, they are in california and I'm in North Carolina. All walmart would say is that they are sorry the option for a refund wasn't given as it should have been, but will do nothing. They also said they don't sell that brand any more. So now I am stuck with an over priced boat anchor, thanks WAL MART for nothing. Beware of walmart and visco.

You are blaming Wal Mart for TV you purchased 2 YEARS ago ????? Get real. How is it Walmart's fault that the TV went bad and that the company who manufactures the TV is being hard to deal with ???? Someone at Walmart told you that they stopped carrying that brand ? Evidently there is good reason for it. No, your problem is with the manufacturer, NOT Walmart.

Of course Wal-mart isn't going to accept it as a return. The TV is almost 2 years old! I'm sure it only has a 1 year warranty anyway, so either way there's no ripoff here.
Also, who is Visco? Never heard of them. Maybe you mean Vizio? If they want you to send it to them, then do so. At least they are trying to work with you, most likely outside of their warranty.
No ripoff here.
