I am a software developer that just purchased a V2Premier computer from ShopNBC. I needed a new computer and the 'no payment for 18 months' seemed like a good deal. I have had my V2Premier for over one month and so far no problems with it. I have ran this system through all major diagnostic tests and it passes with flying colors! For my purposes as a software developer, it cannot be beat.
My warning is this -- If you want a computer for gaming and you want to play 'DOOM3', 'Rome - Total War', or any PC game that is using the new 'T and L' video graphics - then this computer is not for you.
The video chipset that is installed in my system is the VIA S3 unichrome IGP. Although this chipset is 64meg, please beware that it cannot handle the newer graphic game technology. If you want to play games that require 16meg or 32meg video cards, then this chipset can handle that game.
I just wanted to let the buyer beware.
