Let me start off by saying that I have *never* contacted any type of reporting agency before. I would not be writing this now if I wasn't so concerned that someone else will go through what I have with Vision Investing.
I was solicited to join a 12 week "learn to trade options" program. The cost of the class was over $6000 which included unlimited mentoring from an instructor (not a single email for "mentoring" was returned once the class began).
Immediately after I signing up for the course I knew I had made a mistake. I called Troy Sperry [(888) 349-0379 ext. 135] at Vision Investing. Troy claimed to be one of the founders of the Learn 2 Spread Trade program - I do not know if that is true or not. I communicated with Troy both verbally and via email numerous times describing my hesitation. I tried vehemently to get my money back but he refused to oblige (you only have 3 days to rescind, and they are VERY good at deflecting (or ignoring) your requests for a refund).
I figured that I had no choice but to try the classes - I was hoping that I could get *something* for my $6K. I stopped attending after class 3. The expected intelligence level of the attendees is slow low that a 3 year old could grasp the material. The classes are a total joke - they have no worth whatsoever. They spend 12 weeks literally READING from a 100 page manual that I read in its entirety in about an hour - any options related website has more in-depth/useful information!
My instructor had been trading options for 5 years, but he was only profitable over the past year! So I had paid $6K to learn from someone with a record of losing 80% of the time!?
If you are interesting in Spread Trading do yourself a favor:
The people at Vision are scam artists - plain and simple. It was my fault for getting taken in the first place (although, as stated above, I *did* try to get out) but now I am going to have to resort to legal action to get any type of satisfaction.

Update contains more frustrated emotions than factual accuracies.

Given my personal interactions with Vision Investing and Learn 2 Spread Trade I am somewhat embarrassed by my original posting which, in hindsight, contains more frustrated emotions than factual accuracies. My statements regarding the classes, my coach and the course materials are neither fair nor accurate and were made at a time when I was trying to deflect attention away from the fact that I knew I had agreed to the company's cancellation policy but that I was not actually eligible because I had attended several classes.
Although I was frustrated, my frustration was due to changes in my own personal and financial life rather than anything that Vision Investing or their representatives did (or did not do). I hope to stay involved in spread trading in the future and use some of the principles I learned from this course. I sincerely regret any harm or bias my comments may have created.
