I hired Robert back in August of 2008 to build me a website to communicate with my custom Preventive Maintenance software.

He sounded very good on the phone when he contacted me from designquote.com. He assured me he could easily do what I needed him to do. Before I officially hired him I emailed him very detailed information on what I was wanting. I had allready made detailed information on how the site was supposed to work because I previouslly was going to pay someone else to design this site. But my other web designer was too busy and was honest with me up front that he would not be able to get the site done before the end of the year 2008.

So Robert claimed he would easily be finished with my site by October. Which was about 2 months away. I specifically asked him if this money would pay for the entire site and he assured me it would cover all costs. Of course I understand that more costs may incurr if I make any drastic changes to how the site should work. But that was never the case. Of course he is the designer... I am not... so he is supposed to take that into account when he charges someone too.

Robert allowed me to make 3 payments on the site. But I had made all of the payments within a months time. He slowly began working on the site. Showing me little bits here and there. He constantly was not finishing the site fully. Each part of it would only partially be finished. He would then ask for more money each time. So I continued to pay more. I specifically asked him not to use any Flash on my site... but he did anyways.

So I asked him to remove it and he started asking for more money. The design work looked as if it were stolen from other sites and the scripting work was jimmied together using 2 different CP scripts. Very unprofessional and very annoying. When I refused to pay more for removing the flash content and having it replaced with regular html he was very unhappy. He even yelled at me over the phone.

He also gave me many excuses throughout the year telling me why the site wasn't done. He also made an excuse halfway through the year that it was his former employee Chris's fault. But that doesn't explain why even 4 months later I am still left with a non-working website. After the incident with me asking him to remove the flash content and replacing it with regular html this is what I am left with:

As you can see their are 2 totally seperate logins (On the same page). No background content. No text. I basically am left with a skeleton of a website. All of the inner code is broken and unusable.

After going a year now without getting a finished website I am done trying. I want a full refund. I should be getting money for all of the money I have lost this year because I have lost tons of business not having this website online. I have a program that is finished and ready to market but I do not have a website for my users.

I do not know how to get in touch with any of the others here on ripoffreprt.com who were scammed by Robert Greene. But I will try. I have sent a request to Roberts email for a full refund. If he does not respond... or refuses to refund me I have every right in the world to take this to court. I hope I can help any of the others here with their battles.

@ Bob: Robert used to talk about his (so called) myspacefriends adder website a lot to me. He claimed it was his big project. that it was going to make him tons of money in ad revenue. I completely beleive you that he stole your work. I did the research on your domains like you stated above and it is clear he took your hard earned work and calls it his own. I'm fortunate that my APlusMaint site is useless to him without my software. Robert also told me that you would constatly harrass him and made many threats to him. I also tried to contact you a few months back by calling one of the phone numbers attached to one of your domains for myspacefriends finder. But I had to leave a message. It sounded like a business I was calling. I'd really like to get in touch with you so we can take this con artist to court and get the justice we deserve.
