Vision Security LLC Fraudulent Business Practices Orem Utah

They sell you an alarm system at a discount in return for a service contract for monitoring the alarm system.  The contract was for 60 months, and the payment was automatically taken out of my credit card.  Recently, I discovered that the police in my area do not even respond to calls from alarm monitoring companies, so I was really getting nothing for my 39.99 per month, anyway.   

The 5 years were up in August.  I didn't realize it for a few months, at which time I purchased a new system with a loud audible outside alarm so my neighbors would at least be alerted.  I contacted Vision Security LLC to cancel the contract, and the woman there told me that since I had not called them in August, they had re-signed me to a new 18 month contract and was responsible for it.  I checked my original contract, and there was nothing about that; also, I'm sure that I would have to be notified and given the chance to discontinue service when the contract term has expired.

Anyway, it is now December, and I have paid four payments beyond the contract expiration and have been told that I am responsible for another 14 months of payments.  I called my credit card company and made sure that these withdrawls are now discontinued;  I now feel that they should have contacted me before re-enrolling me and continuing to charge my credit card for this service that is worthless to me, anyway.  

I have asked them for a refund of four months payments and have contacted the Better Business Bureau in Utah.  Ironically, I thought that I was hiring these people to PROTECT me from crooks...
