Vistaprint - Evergreen Alliance Ripoff Fraudulent Credit Card Charges Lexington Massachusetts

I recently took advantage of an offer from vistaprint.com for free premium business cards. I authorized a $5 charge for shipping but nothing else. I was later charged $9.95 by a company called Evergreen Alliance LLC. This charge was not authorized and I never received any goods or services from Evergreen Alliance LLC. Based on subsequent research, I believe that Evergreen obtained my credit card information from Vistaprint.

I do not believe vistaprint does this to every customer. After ordering from vistaprint, I received an email inviting me to complete a survey to receive free address labels. I completed the survey but declined the free address labels because I didn't want to pay for shipping. I never saw anything suggesting I was authorizing any sort of credit card charge, but I suspect that this survey process is where the additional charge was incurred.

Many people have good experiences with vistaprint, and it is possible that they simply have shady business partners. You may be able to avoid this trap by ignoring all pop-up ads and survey invitations. In any event, if you decide to order from vistprint, be very careful to review your subsequent credit card charges for anything suspicious.
